“People come into our lives for a reason, or a season, or a lifetime.” ~Anonymous
Some people we seek out. Some people are wonderfully unexpected. Angie has been both of those for me. Through her nutritional mentoring and personal encouragement, she fostered my growth and helped me recover my health and sense of self.
The “reason” and “season” were obvious. I was going through a difficult time, and she assisted, educated, collaborated, and empowered me. The “lifetime” has become evident over the years. Angie lives the values she teaches. Those values align with mine.
If you are considering working with Angie, I suggest you read the following descriptions to see if her way of being is in alignment with what you need and may be seeking: Listener. Coach. Teacher. Nurturer. Empath. Encourager. Self-aware. Solution-focused. Relatable. Optimistic. Creative.
LIFETIME relationships teach us lifetime lessons.

“A cancer diagnosis is not a crossroads we anticipate but it happens. When you or a loved one are diagnosed with cancer, there is fear, confusion and many, many ongoing questions. The learning curve is steep. Is chemotherapy imperative? How will my body react to treatments? What if I can’t manage to work? Or care for my children or partner? One thing is clear, you need support.
We have friends but our extended family is not close, so it was with incredible fortune that Angie stepped into our lives to help me and our family navigate cancer, chemotherapy and the aftermath. Angie took to this task with compassion and professional care. Her background in nutrition gave her a unique advantage of understanding the fundamental importance to a healthy, integrated diet; especially when taxed with toxins. She planned meals around my needs but also considered the family – particularly the kids who can be picky! She shopped, prepared superbly delicious meals and tidied the house. She wore many hats but her passion for cooking is what got me through the lows.
Now, from the other side, I have a deep respect for my body, its tolerance and strength. But much of my success is due to the care I had during the critical stages of cancer treatment. Angie was fundamental during this phase; nourishing my body with healthy and nutritional choices. Having her in our life allowed me to heal holistically and rest assured that we were in amazing hands. Thank you, always, always, always!“

“My son was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of 14. The doctors wanted to put him on medications that were known to have cancer as a side effect. Thanks to the nutritional knowledge, the counseling skills, and the compassionate care of Angie, he has been managing his Crohn's successfully through dietary changes and nutritional supplements for the past five years. I am so grateful, it may seem like an extravagant claim, but there is no question in my mind that Angie helped to save his life. At the very least, I shudder to think what the consequences would have looked like without her. “

“Angie is amazing! She prepared meals for me and my son after my surgery. She talked with me beforehand to ensure I liked all of the ingredients and made sure the food was packed with nutrients and was healthy for my body during recovery. She made dairy-free and gluten-free taste great!!
Angie provides a valuable service, especially to oncology patients who sometimes have diminished ability to cook and clean for themselves.. I’m glad I had her help when I did.”

"I started working with Angie after I suspected that I had Celiac Disease and other food sensitivities. Angie took the time to listen to my entire health history, look at test results, and take notes about my diet and lifestyle. We set up an action plan and she took me step-by-step through ways to heal my leaky gut, which was causing most of my symptoms. She also gave me recommendations for healing supplements, healthy recipes, and good mental health practices. Her integrative approach sets her aside from other practitioners that I've worked with. Her understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection and passion for nutrition is evident each time I meet with her. I have so much gratitude for her knowledge and patience."

“I had the great privilege to work with Angie for a semester during a clinical rotation for my BS in Nursing. Angie skillfully combines her depth of knowledge in Functional Nutrition with her passion to help her clients find better health and wellness. It was inspiring to observe her ability to personalize recommendations to ensure the success of each unique client - definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach!”

“I initially went to see Angie for nutritional counseling, healthier eating, and weight loss. In working with her, she was a mentor, motivator, and educator but also became a friend. Through her effective counseling style, she taught me a new way of healthy living, providing resources and guidance which made the transition easy. Most of all, I learned how to reflect on my experiences and have a more positive attitude about my life.”
